Nature Hike

We had a fabulous afternoon hike today! The weather was so mild. We were actually expecting storms and high winds but had a nice afternoon and then just a refreshing rain late this afternoon and evening.

Soon after we started feeding the birds, a couple of men came down the trail. They were so curious and did not believe that the birds would feed from our hands. The children shared some of their peanuts with them and the man in the black vest was thrilled that a couple of chickadees came and ate from his outstretched hand. He told me later that in all his 86 years he had never experienced anything like that and that you are never too old to learn something new.

The last seven photos were taken by Ben, who loves to photograph things as much as I do!

Be blessed!

Ball's Falls

Even though the forecast called for rain and storms today, we took a risk and made a little trip this afternoon to explore Ball's Falls. It is a lovely, historic site with a nature centre (right now they have a great owl exhibit on loan from the ROM), beautiful, old buildings, walking trails and two waterfalls. We took our dear Christine with us today and will definitely go again another time when Bob can join us.

A New Sister!

Yesterday we had the joy of worshipping and celebrating a baptism with some beautiful friends! It was so much fun to hear Amanda's story and see the happiness radiating from her as she shared about giving her life to Jesus!!! What a wonderful day!

Here are some of the highlights...

Blessings in Jesus!!!
